Lawrence Braschi - Vicar

I’m the vicar at St Pancras which means keeping the love of God central to who we are and what we do.

I grew up overseas – my parents were Christian missionaries in Indonesia. When we came back to live in the UK, I remember feeling rather lost among the stacked supermarket shelves and sheep-fields of England. I studied philosophy, politics and sociology at university, then took up Chinese and spent several years travelling back and forward to work with Chinese Christians and witnessing some of the amazing work of God in that country. For five years I directed the work of the China Desk at Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.

I am married to Jessica, who is a medical doctor, and we have three school-aged children. Together we enjoy the sea, beaches and moors around Plymouth, eating fish and chips, and playing board games.
